Fry Jacks
Ingredients
- 1 Lb Flour
- 2 Packets Grace Baking Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsps El Molino Shortening
- 1 Cup Grace Vegetable Oil
- 1 Cup Water To Moisten
Instructions
- Place All Dry Ingredients Into A Bowl And Mix Well, Add Shortening.
- Add Water Little At A Time While Kneading Until Mixture Forms Into A Smooth Dough.
- Cut Dough Into 8-10 Pieces And Form Into Small Balls.
- Flatten With Rolling Pin And Cut Into 1/4 Or 1/2.
- Heat Grace Vegetable Oil In Frying Pan On High.
- Place Flattened Dough Into Frying Pan And Fry Both Sides For Approximately 1 Minute On Both Sides Or Until Lightly Brown.
